31 Weeks

My oh my.

This week has been so dang hot! I'm so over this heat. Who knew having a baby growing in you would make you even more hot. I hate summers in Texas! Jared is in Arizona again for some work but also gets to spend time with his family in Pima. Which is really nice for him. 

I FINALLY finished sanding the dowers and handles,ALL BY HAND now i'm working on putting scrapbook paper on them. It's gonna be super cute. (I hope) There is a total of 6.

Little Emma is the size of a Pineapple!!

She's about 15.2 to 16.7 inches long and weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds this month. She's getting so big, and crowding my lungs.

She's going through major brain and nerve development.

Eye development, too. her irises now react to light!

All five of her senses are in working order.

That is crazy!! She is so dang active its nuts. I should record it next time she is going crazy! Our birthing class is really nice i'm enjoying it alot. This past Tuesday we got a tour of Labor and Delivery and Postpartum and where they wash and check the little babies, awhhh. It's a big eye opener when we see the babies. They are just so tiny and pure. We saw one take its first dump, interesting. I finally had to get some maternity pants, tear. But i did not want to spend 30 dollars on one pair that i'm gonna wear for like 2 months so we went to CCA Resale, it's a second hand store. I got a pair of jeans for 4.99 and they are in PERFECT condition and from Motherhood. Not to mention looked at the receipt, they were half off!!!! and I also got a skirt from there but originally from Old Navy...SCORE!! And i got 2 brand new books for little Emma. My mom had bought me a few shirts a while ago when she came to visit but they were long sleeves so i CUT the sleeves off 2 more shirts i can wear!!!

How far along? 31 weeks

Maternity clothes? Some

Stretch marks? No, my doctor said Oh good no stretch marks and i said well i put coco butter on, he says you think that works!! Uhh rude!

Sleep: Sleeping better,more pillows.

Best moment this week: Honestly going to our birthing class.

Miss Anything? not being able to work out as hard.

 Movement: EVERY DAY!

Food cravings: Ohh how i LOVE sugar.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No, but i prefer not to eat chicken...still

30 weeks

10 more weeks!!!!

Had a doctors appointment today, went good, Emma's heart rate is about 157. Doctor says i'm doing really good. My iron pills make me sick to my stomach,that i really throw up...not good!! So I asked if I could cut them in half but i guess my red blood cell count when they took my blood a few weeks ago was 11, so he told me half in the morning half at night.Next appointment is in 3 weeks. We started our birthing class this week, It's not all breathing but some. We will get to tour the hospital and i got a huge book full of info on breastfeeding and postpartum stuff, I'm really glad i signed up for it. I think it's fun to learn. My brain is like a sponge right now. And i'm so glad Jared wants to go with me.

This past week has been tough! I have the HARDEST time sleeping. I'm too hot or too cold, my sides hurt my back hurts, little em is moving, i have to pee, GAAAHHHHH! I just want to sleep!! I sleep with like a million pillows too. I'm still working out which does give me alot of energy in the morning so 9 pm comes around and i am tired, i fall asleep for a bit but then...AWAKE! Along with not sleeping my regular clothes are getting to short and too tight, i had a break down today so it's off to get me a few things. Sitting for a long time is also very uncomfortable. Swimming helps ALOT with swelling, and cause well it's Texas HOT and HUMID! Not fun, Jared's ac went out in the truck so we go swimming at least 2-3 times a week.

Baby Emma is.....

15.2- to 16.7-inch, 2.5- to 3.8-pound baby continues to grow. She kicks and punches and rolls. We did a test drive to the hospital just to see, it takes us on a good day (no traffic) 7-10 minutes. Not bad.

Her skin is getting smoother.

But her brain is getting wrinklier -- to make way for all that essential brain tissue.

She is now strong enough to grasp a finger!  Awwh!

Oh also this week Jared and I were taking the trash out and we just have like 1 compacter machine for the whole building so its gross but....someone was throwing away a BRAND NEW dresser!!! So of course we took it. It's not the colors we want so I have been working on sanding down everything to paint it.Which is a pain in the butt!! But it is going to look so good when i'm done I took before pictures so they will be up soon. We move on the 14th!!! Way excited, already started asking around for boxes. Our ward is throwing me and my friend Nicole, (due a day after me) a baby shower at the end of July. =] So even more exciting!! 

Sorry there is no pictures this week, I feel huge so you have to wait tell next week. Maybe by then i'll be done with a project and have TONS of pictures! Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Father's Day

My dad is the best dad ever. He is not my step dad he is just my dad. I had a hard time when him and my mom got married,  I didn’t want to let anyone in my life, all I needed to do was just trust. I trust him now more than ever. He has taught me so many good things in life. How to drive, how to get some good come backs in, how to check the oil in all cars, the list could go on and on and on!!  I could not ask for a better dad. I know that no matter what trial I go through he will be there. I know he is happy for me and with me. He always makes me laugh even when I don’t want to. I love you dad.

My husband is just going to be the best dad to our children. He is a great role model to anyone. I'm so proud of him in everything he does. I know there will be hard times with kids but i know in the end it will be worth it. Jared is such a family person, i'm so glad to call him the dad to our children.

29 Weeks

wow, 11 weeks give or take and i'll be a mom, and Jared will be a dad! Parents, taking care of just a little baby. Our days and nights will forever be changed. And well i'm pretty excited about it. Not working for almost a year really makes you bored on top of only having one car. I'm ready for some company and being with someone all day long. I know though I will miss my HOT showers and sleeping in. In the end it will ALL be WORTH it!!! 

We are signed up for a birthing class. It is a 6 day class, so every Tuesday night for 6 weeks, 3 hours at a time. I hear it is funny and i'm sure Jared and I will be laughing but i really want to take some sort of class. I hear other ladies talking and i just feel so dumb. I have only swaddled a baby like one time, changed maybe 8 diapers....I NEED HELP!! I need to know that I/WE can do this. This week I can honestly say i am scared! I have to teach my little Emma everything, How to tie her shoes, how to go potty, manners, clean....the list just keeps going on and on!! But i have faith that i will be able to do it. I know i can, and heavenly father knows i can or he wouldn't have sent us such a wonderful gift.

I was at Target the other day and i just happened to go down the diaper isle, they had some on sale and i had a gift card so, i bought our first little new born diapers!! I didn't go crazy i know all babies are different and grow faster than others so i only got 72.

And i put them in this CUTE basket that one of Jared's clients gave us, and it is just PERFECT!! We also were given a baby crib mattress, which helps a ton!!(Thank you Janna)

This week i have felt so pregnant, short of breath, can't bend over, have to pee like every 20 mins, my back kills. AHh, i just want to scream sometimes! When we are out and about i always get at least one person ask how far along i am, and they are amazed at how small i am, p.s. thank you!!!!!! So Jared and i have come to the conclusion that Emma is just going to be small.

At 29 weeks baby is the size of a.....

Acorn Squash.

Baby already measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches long. Right now, she weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds but still got a ways to go. 

She's getting a little cramped in there, since she's growing so fast. I swear she never stops moving!

She's growing white fat deposits under her skin, and her energy is surging because of it.

She does not like when i get hot, she goes NUTS. The other day we were driving around and we got home and we went swimming, Oh my it was so nice. she stopped moving and it felt so nice to be in the cool pool. Ahh.

I would much rather be in Arizona during the summer than Texas. Arizona is a nice dry heat, Texas is nasty humid heat. It is miserable. 

 I think the frontal view is cuter, the side view little weird.

28 weeks

Third Trimester!

Well my blood test was good. The only thing they found out is that i'm anemic, so now i have take these HUGE horse pills everyday. I've been pretty good about getting out of the house and walking or going to the gym. Go me! We haven't really done anything exciting this week. We did find a SUPER deal though on the go ol' Craigslist. We got a Bumbo with tray for 25 dollars!! And it's like it just came out of the box!!

Emma is the size of an Eggplant this week....

Ahh she is getting so big!!

There is this onesie i always see on Pinterest that says " I was running out of womb" and i think it is the funniest thing ever cause I feel like our baby girl is running out of room!!

Putting on layers of fat, baby now weighs in around 1.5 to 2.5 pounds and measures about 13.6 to 14.8 inches. 

She's starting to develop more fat, so her wrinkly skin will start to get smoother.

Her lungs are mature enough that she'd probably survive if she was born now. Wow! 

How far along? 28 weeks

Maternity clothes? Need to get some still...

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping, some nights it's good some nights....she is in my ribs! 

Best moment this week: Well normally you want people to notice that your pregnant. well I met with just my regular doctor this week for the first time, and he asked me my last period was and he looked at me after i told him and said....Your pregnant!? It's just nice to know that i don't look fat, the only thing i'm scared of!!

Miss Anything? not being able to lay on my belly, how am i suppose to get tan??
