35 Weeks

So ready for this little girl to just come already. Maybe not totally ready still need to get a few things but I/ my body is ready! This week been pretty slow for us Watson's. We did however get Netflix on our Wii...I AM OBSESSED! They have so many movies and shows. My new current favorite shows are Shark Week, when Jared is home. and One Tree Hill when he is not home. I just love love love it!!!
Our church is throwing me a baby shower which is really nice. One with all my  Arizona friends and one with all my Texas friends. I'm pretty excited!!
We got the stain for the dresser so we have started that, Its so dang hot though its gonna take us forever to get it all painted i think maybe not though. I got a bit bored this week so i painted a small chalk board for Emma's room. Its pretty cute. I can't wait to get her room all done. It will be so nice.
I's going to hang it with some rope.
This week Emma is the size of a.....
Coconut!
She's about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. From here on out, she won't get much longer, but she's plumping up. She's now about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds, and will put on a pound or more of baby fat before birth.
Now, her hearing is fully developed, and she responds best to high-pitched noises.
If Emma was a boy, her testes would have probably fully descended.
Our Doctors appointment went...well. I gain about 2 pounds every 2 weeks. My Doctor says i'm doing good.  Her heart was pumpin at 140.I had to get blood drawn...again. It went fast though. I was also check for strep b, uh not very comfortable. What is even more uncomfortable is being check for dilation, omgosh. NOT my favorite thing. No dilation today but Dr. say only 2-3 more weeks tell our little one is here!!!!!
I now go to the Dr. every week....
I don't have alot of swelling, when i think i do though my feet are up. I also sleep with a pillow under my feet. Which i think helps, maybe. haha. I am also still working out. Not as much as i would like but i don't want to over do it. I drink water like its going out of style!
How far along? 35 Weeks

34 Weeks

Only 6 weeks left!!
I'm still hoping she comes sooner though.
This week at the Watson house....
We finally moved into a 2 bedroom! Ahhh breathing room. We got our keys at 3 on Friday, packed up the truck and started, but man it is hot here so we only did like 2 trips. We only moved apartment buildings so there was no point of getting a U-haul. On Saturday we woke up bring and early (7am) and got started we had some help. Jared needed help with the super heavy stiff, dressers, beds, couch....We worked on that tell about 9 then took a break to go to a baptism, The spirit was definitely there! p.s. i LOVE our ward. It's totally different than Arizona. Anyways...We got home and went back to work. I could not really do anything. One, it was FLIPPIN HOT two, i get Braxton hicks ALOT, three it was HOT! We finally finished and turned in our old keys by 5.
It was so nice to be done moving things over. Now almost a week later i have almost everything unpacked, Go me! Our new place doesn't have a built in book shelf like our old place so i have a few boxes that i just cant unpack yet. We will be making a trip to Ikea soon!!
Sunday we went over to a friends house for dinner which was so nice, who wants to cook right after a move! We had fun and a yummy breakfast dinner Mmmmm!
This week in our birthing class we talked about C-sections, watched a video on it talked...I really hope I don't have to have one, but whatever is best for baby and me i will do. Only one more class to go to and its on breastfeeding, very excited, we have been to a different class on this but it was like 30 mins. So i'm glad this one is longer.
Back to the apartment, We did our walk through papers....We found out that we didn't have power on a wall, the wall that we plug a lamp in, so maintenance guys came with our washer and dryer and to check out the wall. They were kind of short on time so they said they would come back the next day for the power, no big deal. That night/morning 4am all of the sudden i wake up cause the light is on, I wake Jared he goes and checks makes sure no one is inside. Well Jared was like this lamp light is on...so then we were really freaked out. but we knew no one was in the apartment all doors were double lock. So we went back to bed. When we woke up we checked all the other plugs, they ALL worked! Man on man what a crazy crazy thing. Now i'm so jumpy about every little thing.
Emma is the size of a....
Butternut squash.
She weighs in at about 4.2 pounds to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches
Baby at 34 weeks...
Is recognizing and reacting to simple songs, they say she may find them soothing after birth.
She's also urinating about a pint a day...

She is so active, it kills me sometimes. It looks like sometimes like my stomach is doing the wave. haha. She keeps me up at night. not like i can sleep anyways. I am just so uncomfortable! I'm either to hot or to cold! Mainly too hot. We sleep with the ceiling fan on and then a floor fan that sits on the dresser with the a/c and no blankets. Man i hope that goes away after the little one is here.Next week i have my doctors appointment I have to get MORE blood drawn so not looking forward to that and he will check my cervix and test for strep b. Fun, i think NOT! I've said this before but this i think is how Emma feels....
Hahahahaha. I love it.
Also this week i found a sweet blog with a how to on 3-d letters. and SUPER cheap too. Its made out of a cereal box! Here is the start of it.
I'll post another picture when it's all done.
Here is the bump picture

I hope you all have a wonderful week. Remember i update every Thursday!
There will soon be some pictures of little M&Ms room!!
This is a weed. Just thought i would share.

33 Weeks

Ready for this little girl to be here. Texas heat....shoot me. It is miserable. This week has been good. Minus sleep. I hate bedtime because i can't get comfortable for the life of me. This week Jared had a HUGE shutter job(thank you lord) So i was helping him throw away the trash cause i wanted the bubble wrap. So there were these foam tubes, like pool noodles. So Jared turned 5 again and got this great idea to build a raft out of these "pool noodles" Oh man I haven't seen Jared so excited like this. So He got done building 2 rafts, so thoughtful. We got to the pool, Jared sat down on the thing and it totally fell apart. So then we just used them as a pool noodle to float.
It was a good idea. Until it broke.
Our doctors appointment went good this week. Baby's heart beat was around 135. This week we also had our birthing class which was good. We learned pro's and con's of the epidural. We got to watch 2 movies, one lady just did an ALL natural birth. Learned about "the ring of fire". Then the other movie was a lady who got the epidural. Holy cow after watching them both....i think i will need the epidural. I do want to go as long as i can though without it. This class is so great. The teacher goes over so much and we ask as many questions as we want. the best part is on our break we get to see all the little new born babies!!

Little/Big Emma is the size of.....
Something real ugly.

 Durian which is....
Widely known and revered in southwest Asia as the "king of fruits", the durian is distinctive for its large size, unique ouder, and formidable thorn-covered husk.

She weighs about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. And may grow up to a full inch this week -- amazing.
She's keeping her eyes open while awake.
Also starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing.
Her bones are hardening.
And she going through (more) major brain development -- that's one smart baby.
So i thought it would be cool to post a picture of Jared and Me when we were little. I couldn't find baby baby pictures.
Little Jared is just so cute! I think/hope we will have some cute kids.
I started packing up the apartment this week too!! We are so excited to get into a bigger place. We will still be in the same complex just different apartment number(let me know if you need it family) It will be so nice to get everything in order for little miss M&M.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.
Don't forget to look at my last post. Pom pom balls.

How to...

Felt pom-pom balls....

Okay no laughing. This is my FIRST EVER how to. I made these for Little Emma's room. Not much of a fan of mobiles so this is plan B. I hope this is easy enough to understand.

You will need….
Magazines
Duct tape
Hot glue gun, with lots of glue
Felt (4 for $1) hobby lobby
Ribbon
Okay so Styrofoam balls are expensive little things! So I searched online to fined a cheaper way, and boy did I. Magazines and duct tape!! 8 Sheets of felt for the smaller balls and 11 for the bigger one.

First things first, Is to rip pages from a magazine out and crumble into a ball.
Put together the crumbled up paper and start wrapping with duct tape. You don’t want to do it to tight though cause then you will be on this step forever and it doesn’t look right. I did 2 about the same size and one larger.  Its okay if the balls aren’t totally perfect cause after you can smash them to a good size after.
Trace them circles, and cut them, my circles were 3” I found it was easier and faster to pin together 2 sheets of felt (so you only have to trace half) worked great for me! So I got 12 circles on one piece of felt. They don’t need to be perfect, just not pointy.
5 years later…..
Glue gun is plugged in; don’t burn yourself a million times like I did. Okay so take a circle put a dot of glue in the middle  and fold it in half, you may notice here that your circle look weird and aren’t perfect…it’s really okay. So then put another dot of glue in the middle of that and fold it over. Easy? Yes! It just takes A LOT of time.
So now you have like a billion little forchen cookies. Now just put some glue on the bottom of the “cookie” and place it on the ball. There is no right way to do this step. You want it to be random. Mine aren’t too close but close enough that you don’t see through them. Just don’t glue them flat you want them to stick out. After I thought I was done I went back and filled some holes I had, and I still have a few extra left. Last but not least….Add some cute ribbon to the top.

I Spent about 8 dollars total for these!
There gonna look SO cute in here room i can't wait!

32 Weeks

While Jared was in Arizona he got to spend some good quality time with his parents and sister. On one of those days ( I have horrible pregnancy brain) I had some serious pain. I physically could not move. I had so much pain in my stomach all I could do was cry. I called Jared because his mom is a nurse and he told me that it is my insides making room and organs moving. Oh man I do not ever want to go through that again!! I don’t wish that feeling upon anyone. Jared’s flight home Saturday night was delayed…He was suppose to be back home in Texas at 10:30pm, I didn’t see him tell 1:30-2:00am…holy cow I have not stayed up that late in forever.  Sunday was a nice relaxing day of church and watching TV together. Our birthing class was cancelled this week due to the 4th. Which was nice cause they did a fireworks show in Addison. We have a friend that has a warehouse in Addison so we went there and got on top of the roof. That was a work out; I only had to pee once. They did a really cool air show and had a 30 minute fire works show. On the 4th we had a nice relaxing day, Jared had the day off we tried to go swimming but our pool was so packed and no shade. Our friends had us over and a few other families for a BBQ. Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, baked beans! Oh man we ate way to much! After that we found a hill close to our place so we could see the Lewisville show little did we know we were going to see 12 other places setting off fireworks! Best 4th of July!!
I look like i'm on drugs, i'm not

While Jared was gone I worked on some felt pom-poms. They are a lot of work. I made a tutorial and will post next week when I get them hung up in our NEW PLACE!!! My mom sent us a box of clothes that I got from the shower. I forgot how little and cute they are!! Here are some of our favorites.
Definitely a Target Baby.
Jared's grandma made little Emma this beautiful blanket.

Well as the weeks go faster and faster this week she is the size of a.....

That is a squash....
baby weighs in at about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds and measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches
She's getting ready for her descent -- she's likely in the head-down position now.
And she's probably feeling a even more cramped. Yes she moves so much it hurts.

Just for dad a picture of my face. =]
