Miss Emma

Poor kid. Finally after 4 months of throwing up and the doctor not knowing what to do she finally sent us to the specialist. It was at the Children's hospital which was scary because i had to pre-register her. Anyways her appointment was today. I explained everything EVERYTHING, i had a page FULL of notes and things that have been happening. We have switched her formula many many times, we have tried to thicken it with rice cereal, we have tried Zantac. The list just goes on! Emma is capable of eating 8oz plus 1 1/2 tablespoons of puree with out throwing up. 3-4 days out of the week she throws up. not just a little like a full 5-8 ounce. Let me tell you cleaning up baby puke is not fun. Not only that but loads of laundry that follows it because it's all over me, her, the floor, her bed. So the doctor has given us a new medication Prevacid. Lets hope that works.
Her eating habits though this doctor could not help me out so we now have an appointment to see a feeding specialist. If i haven't told you already Miss.Emma HATES HATES HATES to eat. This has been a problem sense the day she was born.Yes 6 months later finally getting it checked by the specialist. She screams and cries when the bottle is anywhere near her mouth. She will not open her mouth for the spoon, and she hides her face in her high chair so i cant see her mouth. I literally force feed her. It is a very serious issue. I've never been so happy to go to the hospital. Anyways....

So we got our house ready for Emma to crawl. I shampooed the carpets, got outlet plugs, a baby gate, and dusted everything and anything, including baseboards...go me. She wants to crawl so bad. Bring it on baby!! In Carrollton there was a book sale. I scored.... all these books were 2.00 or less. They were used but all of these are in great shape, some were like really bad.
Emma is loving bath time more than ever, now that she can sit up with out help, i let her in the tub. I started to show her how to splash on Monday and she got it down by Thursday night!!
I swear she just gets cuter everyday.

Ready to crawl.
She JUST woke up from her nap in this picture.
It's like she knows i watch her....

Felt Tree's for Valentines Day.

So i saw these on a blog and i thought...so easy totally doing this. Took me one day to make 2. Alot easier than my felt pom-pom balls for Emma. Here is my how to::

Supplies:
2-4 pieces of Felt (depends on how big your cone is.)
pins
Card stock (to trace a heart as a template)
Scissors
Marker
And some sort of tree topper.

I folded my card stock traced heart in half and then also the felt so it went by alot faster, and prettier. I also pinned the felt so my fold would stay. I used 2 or 3 sheets of felt for the light pink one and 3 or 4 for the hot pink one.
All traced and ready to be cut...
Yay hearts are ready to be pinned on...
Start at the bottom, and work your way around and up, make sure you hide the pin and cover the cone.
I just used 2 hearts to cover the flat top, and then stuck this sweet heart i got at Michael's for 96 cents (for 3 of them) into the cone.i left some of the wire so i could stick in the foam. also went thew the felt at the top.
Yay,all done. I also made the black and white one, it's just a piece of scrapbook paper rolled into a cone.
This craft cost me about $4.00 holla!!
