Happy Halloween

Halloween is was more fun when you have a child. Even if she is the only one that dressed up! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Emma is getting sick i think so we actually did not go trick or treating this year but next year it's on for sure!
We had our church's fall festival on Friday Emma loved walking around the church with her pumpkin in hand.
Emma was pebbles.
She totally rocked it!
 Emma is a Daddy's girl!
We don't look at all a like...=]
So i was pebbles for Halloween a few years ago and i thought how awesome would it be for her to wear my same costume that my mom made for me. So i cut up mine and sewed it up Emma size! She definitely wore it better.
Sorry i'm not sorry this picture is smaller than the rest!
I go to play group every week at this week of course we had a little party for them.
Yes this was a timed picture.

Emma started to give us kisses when we asked and i finally caught it on camera today so i want to share with you the funniest, sweetest video ever.

Some of October

First things first; blogging is so much harder when your little one is so active! The only time i can even think to blog is nap time or bed time. And most nap times i'm cleaning or having some much needed me time. Emma is always on the go. I should probably be napping with her. I enjoy chasing her around and playing with her. Right now her favorite thing to do is just be outside. She loves chalk, and pointing at things and saying "this" She is always wanting to learn. I work with her everyday okay most days on colors, shapes, ABC and animals. Some say "wow really?" Yes really! Emma LOVES flash cards and is very good and being gentle with them. She knows the color blue (has for awhile) She knows what a duck is and says along with cows, bunnies, fish, and a lion. She will be my baby genius. I LOVE working with her, knowing that I am the one who is teaching her these small simple things brings pure joy to my life. I LOVE being a mom. I have hard days but who doesn't. We are not all perfect. Just this past Sunday at church Emma squeezed her entire apple sauce pouch all over my white skirt, then lifted it up, all the way up! Yeah i left class after this happened!
Emma is my pride and joy. Emma also LOVES the itsy bitsy spider, she will put her little hands together and swing back and fourth, she even says DOWN! I just love her. My favorite thing she does right now is gives hugs and pats us on the back. Emma shares her toys with other kids. She is tough at home but when we are in a new place it is a different story! At 14 months old i feel like she is one smart cookie.
 On with the pictures;
This first picture has to be first because my dear friend Lesli is having her sweet baby boy today. We are just so excited for there family of four! This was at her baby shower a few weeks ago!
It's October so of course we hit up the pumpkin patch!

 Emma really likes pumpkins

Emma is going to be pebbles for Halloween so this just seemed appropriate
Playing outside with chalk and bubbles
Yes she is sweeping. <3
Our little dare devil, She stood up on this and then clapped for herself

 Daddy's girl for sure!
There is a whole grape in her mouth
This was a hard day. We have four teeth coming in.
Am i mean for posting this?

1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons butter

Butter or spray cooking oil on a cookie sheet
Mix all ingredients, pour batter onto cookie sheet and spread thinly

Take a sheet of wax paper, spray the one side with cooking spray, and lay over the cake
gently lift the short end rolling up in the wax paper.
set aside and cool.
For the filling:
Mix all the ingredients until smooth
unroll the cake and spread with filling, then roll the cake up again.
I like to put mine in the fridge and let it cool and then i cut of the ends cause they always get a bit darker. but you can eat it warm.
