This has been a crazy fun week! I know i said last week that our churches nativity was closed but...they opened it up because the ice was melting! It was so beautiful and you could just feel the spirit when you walked in! Christmas time is so much more fun when you have a child. Emma loves opening a new book every night. She may like the wrapping paper more at times.
Picture of the day;;
Emma Loves to Help me clean things. 12/9
We leanred how to pop bubble wrap. 12/10
First time finger painting. 12/11

Took her an hour to fall asleep, then she only slept for an hour 12/12
Cutest reindeer 12/13
This is the face i get when i ask her to "smile" 12/14
Two of her favorite things, monkey and blanket 12/15

Also this week we got our picture taken with Santa at Bass Pro Shop. As we waited in line Emma was so excited, she was waving and smiling when i picked her up to put her on his lap...yeah that was not happening, she held on to me like i was leaving her for days, even had donkey tears. After 10 minutes of this we got back in line, more tears but she sat on my lap.

Tonight,we went and saw some lights, the lights matched the music! It was awesome! We let Emma sit in the front with us, we were going 3 mph, don't call cps on me. She was dancing to the music shaking her shoulders and saying "ho ho ho" After we drove by we got out and walked. They had Popcorn and Hot Coco, a Santa (we tried to get another picture) AND i was even able to drop of the bag of food i bought to donate! So we got two birds with one stone tonight!
I made Emma a Felt tree this year cause well being 1 she wants to touch everything, it turned out great she loves it and is so soft with it!
She loves taking the ornament off and then putting them back on.
I'm sharing this picture because i love my stockings i made them and am so proud of the way they turned out!
This is a video of Emma, Its okay if you watch it at least 5 times because it is just that funny.

This week is Jared's birthday! The big 3-3.

Emma knows who Santa is and does a great impression of him..." Ho ho ho" while patting her belly.

So Texas had a huge Ice Storm, which is so crazy because it was 80 degrees for two days than BAM! freezing cold and ice. It's been crazy. We literally could not leave our complex because we don't have 4 wheel drive. .On the second day of going crazy and stuck inside all day we HAD to get out we HAD to get some food and other things before Sunday. Randomly Jared went down to the truck to get something and he remembered her had chains! Crazy that people from Arizona have chains right. So we started the van it only took 45 minutes of turning the van on for us to even get the ice off the window! put the chains on and went for it. It was going so good we felt like rock stars, i called a family that lives in our same complex to see if they needed anything. They said yes and he wanted to come. So we went down a huge hill.....that was our mistake Jared got a little sacred and went on the breaks. We did not hit one car. We cam seriously with in INCHES of hitting one but heavenly father was with us! Finally after an hour of just being in the complex we made it to Wal*Mart. Wal*Marts parking lot was ice, nothing else. I think i had at least 5 anxiety attacks. We made it inside and omg! I have never seen a store so empty in my life! The bread was gone, the soup gone, water bottles gone! You would think the would is ending! Anyways after 30 minutes in the store we got back in and headed home. took us another 30 minutes to drop our friend off and get back to our place. After this ice storm i have decided...i hate the cold, and i hate the ice. There were at least 6-8 cars in our complex that hit. I am so grateful that we were not one of them. ( The picture on the bottom left is Emma all bundled up to Walmart ^)

This poor RV was stuck her for at least 12 + hours
So due to this ice storm THREE things on my bucket list have been canceled and are not re-scheduling.
Our churches beautiful nativity
The parade
Journey to Bethlehem
Church was also cancelled today.

Until next week Friends!
Stay Warm!!
