27 weeks

This past week has been very relaxing! On Memorial day we had a church activity at the softball fields. Jared played a few games (and got sun burned) I hung around the food, and friends, hehe. It was so nice though to get out of the apartment and hang out with friends. Later that night we went to our friends house for dinner. Super fun and yummy, Carne Asada Tacos with beans and….Hot Dogs wrapped in….BACCON!! There were some of our other friends there which was nice just talking about everything, It was a good time, good laughs!

Jared and I finally took the stroller out of the box and put it together. We have had it in the box since February! It was like Christmas. I got both my diaper bags this week!! My sister Krystle ordered me a custom one which is super cute, and I just ordered one online. Two is ALWAYS better than one! Oh I haven’t gotten a call on my glucose test, So I guess I don’t have to go back for a THREE hour test! Thank goodness!!  The drink was so dang sweet my belly hurt after. Then the nurse didn’t get the needle in right so I had to get poked twice  =[ Oh how it was a horrible day. I do not like needles AT ALL! 

I made this cute little thing for a good friend so i just had to make our little Emma one. I put jingle bells in it to so it makes noise.

Little Emma is the size of a....

 At 13.6 to 14.8 inches and 1.5 to 2.5 pounds, she's not just getting bigger, she's getting smarter.

She's practicing inhaling and exhaling with her rapidly developing lungs.

It's official: Baby's showing brain activity! And her brain will keep on getting more complex.

How far along? 27 weeks

Maternity clothes? Need to get some!

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping…what is that? I wake up all the time cause baby is moving or I have to pee.

Best moment this week: Baby has had hiccups!

Miss Anything? Not fitting into my regular clothes

 Movement: EVERY DAY!

Food cravings: Anything cold, like otter pops!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week.

I finished "my sisters keeper". Which was a really really good book. We rented the movie....HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! This week im gonna read "Tuesday with Morrie" one of my sisters favorite books. and there is no movie to follow so i'm happy about that.

26 Weeks

Where has the time gone!! Sorry i didn't get to post on Monday. My trip to Arizona was so nice. I got to see friends and family and just really enjoyed my time. The baby shower was so nice. Alot of work but so nice.(I'll post pictures when i get them) We had a breakfast party, with muffins, mini homemade pop tarts,(yummy), pancakes on a stick, hash browns....the list just keeps growing!! Jared's family was able to make it down to my parents (thankyou) I got to see some friends that i haven't seen scene high school!! We played games and we had everyone bring onesies to decorate! They turned out so cute! We bought fabric, and had iron on's, puffy paint.It was just tooo cute!!

Well My trip went by so fast. I got some good quality time with my family. We went to my favorite place in town, Vinny's for chicken wings. Oh they were so yummy!! I already miss my family but they will be coming to Texas when little Emma is born! And man oh man did she get ALOT of gifts!! Jared and I are so so thankful for everything. Well my flight got in to DFW at 5:45am and Jared was there to pick me up. I told him i was so excited to sleep in our bed! But he said well you can sleep while i go to church cause were going to.....SEA WORLD!!!! Who knew the was Sea World in Texas?  He had planned this while i was in Arizona for our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Time has gone by so fast! We had a 4 hour drive to San Antonio, It was a pretty drive but man was i tired of sitting! We got to our hotel which was SO nice i felt like white trash cause of what i was wearing, but whatever. It was by far the nicest hotel i have EVER stayed in. We spent May 21st ( our anniversary) at Sea World. It was so much fun. They put on shows with the animals, Definitely better than the zoo. We went on one ride cause well duh, it was a huge rapid ride....they don't tell you you get SOAKED!!! it looked like i had taken a bath. and i was wearing jeans. I had to ring them out in the bathroom!! Our trip was so nice.And a nice surprise.

It's crazy to think that we have already been married for a year and have done so much! We got married, a month later moved to Texas, Started a business and got pregnant, which was planned. I could not be any happier! I'm married to my best friend. 

Baby is the size of.....

 still growing in the 13.6- to 14.8-inch and 1.5- to 2.5-pound range

She's enjoying her new sense of balance -- she now knows which way is up and which is down.

She's growing more fat and more hair too

Her eyes are forming, and his eyes will soon start to open. 

And her eyelashes are now grown, too. 

She's getting her immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies. 

She's taking breaths, too. They're of amniotic fluid, not air, but it's still good practice.

Crazy in just 14 weeks i'll be 40 weeks!!! Holy COW!! I can't wait! I just want to see her already!! I have my Glucose test today with blood work, oh how i HATE needles! I'll let you know how it goes next week. I think I will be posting now on Thursdays!

Oh and we saw "what to expect when expecting" Funny, sad and so true!!

I cried, but it is for sure a chick flick!

24 weeks

24 weeks and 3 days today...

Time sure does fly!!

This week has been great. I've worked out 4 days out of the 7. And i'm going to continue to do it. We had a doctors appointment which was good. Got to hear little Emma's heart beat! Such a wonderful sound. Jared surprised me with some Mother's Day gifts a pair of Nike flip flops that are super super nice for back support! and then later he told me to come with him to the bank....well we went to the bank little did i know we were also running some "errands" for someone, NOT. He drove me all the way out to Dallas to pick up a GIANT chocolate chip cookie from Paradise!

It was such a nice surprise. i loved it!

Baby is as long as.....

gained about 1/4 pound since last week. (Length: almost a foot.) 

Her see-through skin is gradually becoming more opaque(not transparent).

And she got a new pink glow, thanks to the small capillaries that have recently formed

I now go to the doctors every 2 weeks. My next appointment i do my glucose "orange" test. I've heard so many different things. I'm not to scared i can handle those sugary things. and It's already getting cold in the fridge.

The bad thing... i then have to get MORE blood drawn. Not happy about that. We have been able to see her move on the outside!

How far along? 24 weeks 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: I have gained all the weight i lost back plus ONE pound

Maternity clothes? Not yet but i'm getting close to not fitting in my jeans.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep and me don't go well together right now!

Best moment this week: My husband surprising me.

Miss Anything? Not this week.

Movement: She is a mover, and a kicker.

Food cravings: Sweets

Anything making you queasy or sick: chicken still doesn't sound good. and the smell of garlic,ew.

Tonight I leave for Arizona! I'm really excited but i sure am gonna miss the husband. I fly into Mesa then on Monday my sister and I will drive (3 hours) south to my parents house. I'm so excited. I haven't seen my dad and sister scenes Christmas. Saturday is the baby shower, SO EXCITED!!!! Family and Friends <3

23 Weeks

This past week has been very relaxing. On Wednesday we headed to our favorite place ever...Arizona!! Our flight left at 11 pm Texas time and got there at 11pm AZ time. So that was not fun, but the time went by fast. We stayed with a good friend Whitney. On Thursday was Ryker and Shelby's wedding, they were sealed in the Mesa temple. It was such a beautiful sealing. We are so glad we were able to attend. We had lunch at Mokis, its delicious Hawaiian food with  Joe, Ashley and little Emily. After lunch we got to see Jared's mom, It was so nice to see her. I know Jared was happy about that. Later that night we went to the reception. It was so beautiful, they did a country theme, of course Jared and I got our 2 step on. hehe. It was so much fun to see all of are friends and be at the same place. We haven't seen everyone scene Jared and mines wedding.(Almost a year ago) Friday we got the group of friends together again at Oregano's for lunch, not my favorite place but it was good to see everyone again including the newlyweds.=] Later my brother picked Jared and I up and we got to spend the rest of our time with them. It was so nice to see my nieces. Man O man have they grown up. Lexy is gonna be in high school! They got us some baby gifts a bib that says..." I love my Uncle" This is my brothers first niece! My brother played 3 games of softball that night at Big League Dreams. Which is a very fun place, when the sun goes down. About 10:30 pm they took us to the airport we said our good byes...I'll see them in a week though =] Our flight didn't leave tell about 12:45am....WORST PART of the whole trip. I couldn't fall asleep, and was so uncomfortable. We landed at 5:00am Texas time. We had to get a cab home which by the way if you didn't know are FREAKIN expensive! We got home and went to bed, ahh.

Our trip to Arizona was great very relaxing for the both of us. Now i get to go back on Sunday for a whole week!! I'll be at my parents and I'm so excited!

Baby this week is.....

as long as a grapefruit.....

At about 10.5 to 11.8 inches and about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces, baby's not just getting bigger, she's getting even cuter. lets hope she has curl hair!

She's forming little nipples hehehehe

Her face is fully formed now -- she just needs a little extra fat to fill it out.

She's listening to our voices and my heartbeat -- and even to loud sounds like cars honking and dogs barking

We can now see her kicking and moving on the outside. She likes when i eat coco puffs. She does some crazy things in there! Jared still talks to her. She sleeps alot so when i get scared i move my belly so i can feel her. All of our friends gave me really nice complements while we were in town which is nice to hear. Like "Oh you look so cute" that's the best thing to hear!

  My dad has a hobby of taking pictures so I'm going to use a few in her room.

Her room is going to be reds, yellows, and peach colors. Don't you just love AZ!!! I cant wait tell we move into our bigger place so i can start to decorate!!

23 weeks 4 days!

I have a doctors appointment Thursday, I want to know how much weight I've gained.

I'm excited for my trip back to AZ i'll be seeing alot more family and friends because my mom and sister are throwing me a baby shower. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL week, stay cool.
