Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday. We had a beautiful church musical,  Then had a yummy dinner with some friends here in Carrollton. 

It's Official

We have a crawler!

It's true;; once they can crawl they really do get into everything and anything. It's so cute though.

I started showing her how to clap on Saturday, and today she did it! Every time we say "Yay" we clap or "good job" It is so awesome to see her learning new things and so fast.

She falls asleep in the funniest positions. 

We are also going to start signing this week. It is so hard to tell when she is full or even when she is hungry and i read that at this age is a good time to start. I think it will be another special bond between us <3

I also caught her in her crib sitting trying to pull herself up! The crib was lowered the next day.

This past week my sweet grandma passed away. She is now with my grandpa and i am happy for that. She will be missed so much. My grandma met alot to me. I use to go to her house after working a full shift at the salon and give her a perm then put it in rollers. I use to go over to help her clean and of course spend time with her. I love her so much and have so many sweet memories with her. She always had to have her lipstick on. I'm so glad i saved some of her voice mails she left me telling me how proud she was of me and that she loved me. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful grandma. There are so many memories i have with her put i will put those in a more personal place. I'm so glad She got to me my Emma. I'm sad i didn't get to say good-bye but i know she is in a better place with loved ones and heavenly father. It is so hard to be so far from family at a time like this. When i was living in Arizona i lived 10 mins from her, When we moved to Texas she was always just a phone call away.

7 Months Old

Well Emma is learning and growing fast. She Is not full on crawling but if she wants something she will get it. She can't figure out her left leg. She is just to funny. She makes the funniest faces ever, and is getting louder with her voice. When she plays with her toys she just talks away. The only food she does not like is carrots. She LOVES pizza crust, graham crackers, puffs. This month I want to start expanding her food limits. Puree  is nice and all but it is work. And she is the messiest ( i think that is a word) eater ever! Tonight she went from sitting to belly to back to sitting!! Proud mommy moment right there! Getting her to take a picture next to a fun chalk board....very hard now that she knows how to get things.

She just melts our hearts.

Also this week we got new furniture in our living room!!! We needed them. Our "coffee" table has the top duh and also a bottom "shelf" Emma has figured out how to bang things on it. Lucky no scratches...yet

The love i have for this little one, i cant even explain. I can truly say you don't know what real love is tell you have a child. She is my world.

We got our tickets for Arizona for my brothers wedding and we are so excited!! and I can officially say....Emma sleeps through the night!!!! Of course I still wake up once or twice to check on her. But man it's nice!

Little update

This past week we have been busy busy. Monday was a beautiful day here in Texas. I wore shorts and was still too warm. We definitely met some friends and went the park. Sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen for Miss.Emma.She loves to swing, and be outside. On Tuesday it was back to pants and coats. We met at the church to do out "busy bag swap" I made 54 Popsicle puzzle, holy chicken! But it was soo worth it. In return we got 18 (including ours) different bags! I can not wait for Emma to use and under stand them! Also on Tuesday we had our Relief Society birthday dinner. I am part of the committee so i helped plan and put together the dinner. It was so much fun. We did a Cafe Rio style dinner. Even had our own tin bowls. If any of you have not been to Cafe Rio...Go and be in heaven! SO You start with a tortilla in a bowl, the you add black beans, and rice Next is the sweet pork...AMAZING. Then is the toppings, pico, cheese tortilla strips, and the best sauce in the world!!! After dinner we played our new tradition of "Speed Dating" also know as get to know the women in the ward. It's so fun. Of course you HAVE to have birthday cake at a birthday party!! Costco cake is supper yummy!

ALSO, Since Emma has been taking Prevacid her eating habits have gotten like so much better, so i rescheduled her feeding evaluation. She opened her mouth for the spoon the first day on her medication....yes i cried. tears of JOY!!
